Amanamanha Institute is located in the neighborhood of Siriú, Garopaba, Santa Catarina, Brazil, next to Macacú Lagoon; more precisely, in the south face of the Paula Maria mount, where Atlantic Jungle is in a recovery stage. This region is next to the Serra do Tabuleiro State Park (area of permanent protection).

Our proposal consists is developing a communitarian library and a free libertarian school inserted in this geographic context, in a harmonic way, searching a balance between occupation and biological wildlife. Interacting with the environment and looking for solidarity bonds with the local community, considering the cultural and economic variants.

All the operation of these small buildings, from administration to daily maintenance, is open to the participation of children according to their interests. The tasks that do not to demand exclusive dedication could be made through solidarity work (specifically trained and oriented). When necessary and of general interest, it will held open workshops to the population.
